Program Manager (R&D Automotive) Scope of the role: Management of cross functional project teams responsible for the development and maintenance of boosting system products (turbochargers for passenger vehicles) from the concept stage to commercialization and production launch that meets customer and company requirements for timing performance quality cost reliability and investment. • Plan a cohesive cross functional product development project plan in accordance to the PEP(Phase 0~4) product development process. • Track product development relative to objectives e.g. product targets (perf cost quality) timing and financial expense and capital expenditures. • Plan a cohesive cross functional product introduction plan in collaboration with the customer teams and customers in accordance with the PEP standard product introduction process. • Coordinate with the customer teams and customers to align project objectives activity and timing plans risk management plans and issue resolution. • Achieve project team functional and leadership buy in to project plans. • Drive cross functional platform team execution to the established plans. • Lead risk management activities to identify mitigate and monitor risks to both the product and the project. • Report the status of projects to the customer and internal organisation escalating issues through leadership meetings and launch readiness reviews. • Ensure project planning and execution alignment to functional best practices such as supplier selection design concept selection design reviews reliability planning etc. • Ensure project compliance and documentation in compliance with standard requirements Requirements: • Experience in product development (automotive industry preferred) • Knowledge of project management tools • Strong leadership profile (team builder motivator and team player) • Action oriented with proven track record in taking the initiative.
